Temporary Deputy Speaker, we have three categories of applicants namely students in the regular degree programmes, students in the self-sponsored programmes and students in private universities. Since this is a loan which beneficiaries from the three categories will repay, they should be given an equal platform in terms of application and consideration. Everybody should be given equal chance and same conditions because the money that is given to students is a loan. Whether you are a parallel degree programme student or a private university student or regular student, you will repay the loan. This is because none of those categories is attracting more fines or interest than the other."
