    "content": "In that respect, the Report is for purposes of updating Members on the extent to which the business of the National Assembly is taken seriously and implemented by the Executive arm of Government. The Hon. Chair for the PIC has just stated that the Committee on Implementation is a new Committee, but I must say that it might be a misleading statement because this Committee has been in existence in our system. It also comes with a history because I know at some point it was taken out of the list of committees of the National Assembly, but we had it in the Tenth Parliament and we are going on with it in the Eleventh Parliament. Pursuant to our mandate, the Committee has so far received reports from various cabinet secretaries on the implementation of a total of 26 resolutions of the House. The Committee has also received reports from the Ministry of Health regarding the implementation status of the 16th Report of the PIC."
