    "content": "Thank you, Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir. I would like to request for a Ministerial Statement from the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports on the barring of young people under the age of 35 years from seeking positions in the management of the national football affairs. In the Statement, the Minister should clarify the following:- (a) Why the Independent Elections Board mandated to oversee the elections of Kenya football officials has made it one of its conditions for eligibility for office that one has to be aged over 35 years. (b) Why the Ministry has allowed that practice which is both discriminatory and unconstitutional. (c) Whether he will review this requirement to enable deserving youth to participate."
