This is the first time the audited accounts of Central Bank of Kenya are coming before this House. It is unprecedented because in the past, there were special institutions: Central Bank of Kenya, Kenya Revenue Authority, Kenya Power and Lighting. Those are institutions that used to be operated through roadside presidential directives. Courtesy of the current Constitution, this is the first time the accounts of Central Bank of Kenya will be debated in this House. The other institutions are: 19) Ewaso Nyiro North Development Authority 20) Kenya Petroleum Refineries Limited (It has serious challenges presently) 21) Kenya Electricity Generating Company 22) Nzoia Sugar Company 23) Agro-Chemical and Food Company.
