"content": "Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker for giving me this opportunity. I want to congratulate Hon. Sakaja for this very good Bill. He has not disappointed. Since Hon. Sakaja was nominated he has done an excellent job. It reminds me of the time when we were in the last Parliament. It is good if we read our Terms of Reference (TORs). Sometimes they are not written, but they are implied. I want to congratulate Hon. Sakaja. He has lived true to the youth agenda and his calling as a nominated Member of Parliament. I also want to congratulate him because he has addressed in the Bill some of the issues that I am very passionate about such as the issues of equalisation of opportunities, intergenerational equity, disabilities and gender. I would like to encourage that even as we are looking at this Bill that he adds somebody with an eye on gender to do a bit of gender mainstreaming so that he strengthens aspects that have to do with gender. For example, he is taking about international opportunities or jobs and yet we know, at the same time, that many of our women who travel out of the country are subject to violations while others are subject to trafficking when they get those international jobs. You need at the same time to put very strong measures and probably make a linkage with the Counter Trafficking in Persons Act so that you deal with that."
