    "content": " Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, given the weighty issues that the distinguished Senator for Makueni County has raised, the Vice Chairperson of the Committee is most likely to tell us that he will seek further clarification. When this House was sitting in the garage at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC), we passed a Motion sponsored by the distinguished Senator for Machakos, to inquire into and report on the continuing and unabated pollution of the Tana and Athi Rivers. Could I be in order to request the Chair to direct the Committee to carry out a comprehensive inquiry into this matter and bring a report that may be debated in this House and a resolution made. The report can be followed up for implementation."
