We are calling upon the various organizations and agencies that are responsible in following up matters of investigations and prosecution to ensure that those that have looted public organizations are brought to book. There is also another important issue. When it comes to privatisation of public organizations, we have to be very careful so that privatisation is done in a way that the public interest is safeguarded. A case in point is the Kenya Oil Refinery, the Telkom Kenya and concessioning of the Kenya Railways, among others. As a nation, we have to be very careful about people who plan and make it possible that foreigners can come and loot important investments in these organizations."
