Temporary Deputy Chairlady, I beg to move:- THAT, Clause 2 be amended— (a) by deleting the word “sixty-eight” and substituting therefor the word “seventy”; and (b) in the marginal note by deleting the figure “68,399,050,952” and substituting therefor the figure “70,399,050,952”. Basically, what we are asking this Committee to do is to give an extra Kshs2 billion to go towards the Rights Issue of Mumias Sugar Company. I thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairlady."
