However, as a Committee, we are already working on that proposed Bill to ensure that we are able to set up an independent commission to look into county boundaries in this country. Also, a number of other issues have been raised about the mandate of the IEBC relating to setting up of diaspora voting, setting up of polling stations and so on. As a Committee, we agreed that one of the agenda that we will request the IEBC to address would still be the issue of boundary. If the answer from them is that the county boundary is not their issue, and they have not done anything towards that, we will take it as that but we are working on the other issues as a Committee. Let me give the commitment that, possibly, by Thursday this week, we will have the written Statement from the Ministry of Interior and Coordination of National Government on the aspect of security on the simmering tension within that particular border."
