    "content": "the kind of person the position requires to carry out their duties effectively. Madam Temporary Speaker, it also seeks to promote public participation in the vetting process. It will allow the public to submit any information or evidence regarding the suitability of a candidate for appointment. It also promotes public trust, respect and amity towards the county government in so far as it allows contribution of the public regarding the decision to be undertaken. This also ensures that the committee is vested with all the information it may not have, but which it would require regarding a nominee. That way, the committee can make an informed decision regarding the appointment. Lastly, the appointee becomes the person who is acceptable to the public within the county. This in itself would ensure cooperation amongst various stakeholders and the public as far as implementation activities by the appointee are to be undertaken.
