    "content": "Madam Temporary Deputy Speaker, I also rise to support this Bill. It cannot be gainsaid that the practice of FGM is clearly outdated in the 21st Century. Its foundation actually is hinged upon the mentality that the woman cannot control her sexual drive, a right which we all acknowledge men are entitled to. So by outlawing this practice, we are enshrining within our laws and cultural practices, that women have a right to control their own bodies."
