    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I would like to believe that the Chairperson of the Education Committee has listened to you carefully with the appeal that we have the two Cabinet Secretaries to address this issue, especially so, on the way forward in the north eastern part of Kenya. Two days ago, we saw in the media, the Vice Chancellor of Garissa University ordering all the staff to report back to the institution. Whether that was a good sign that there was security or it was just semantics, nobody knows. Some of the questions we want answered are; first, what is the designed pattern of education henceforth in the north eastern part of Kenya, taking cognizance of the fact that there is that interruption? Secondly, what plans does the Ministry have to solve the problem of shortage of teachers in that area? Additionally, we need more information so that we know what will happen to the child of the north eastern region in terms of education."
