We gave ourselves a new Constitution, courtesy of the Kenyan people. Now that we have it, I hope that we will implement it well for the benefit of our people. If the quality of the lives of our people does not improve, what is the new Constitution for? The usefulness of the new Constitution must be determined and judged by the extent to which the quality of the lives of our people improves. If it does not improve, we must go back to square one."
