    "content": "Senators there are treated like Senators and “Lower House” Members are treated as “Lower House” Members. So, we want to demand separate catering facilities for Senators. We believe that our 29 men and women - it is a strong team - will deliver the best for us. Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, we are being exploited because each of us is paying Kshs4,000 every month for the gym and other facilities at Continental House which we do not use. Why do you want to take my money if I do not want to use your facilities? I would like to request the Members we appoint to this Committee to go and fight for us so that the health facility is constituted to be a purely voluntary member club. It should not be compulsory for all Members of Parliament so that those who do not use the facility are not compelled to pay. I suggest that they should refund all the money which has been illegally deducted from some of us who do not use that facility. We do not even have a uniform or anything to show for that Kshs4,000. Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, if we are to establish proper health facilities, let it be separate for Members of the Senate and Members of the National Assembly so that you do not mix wazees here with their grandchildren in the National Assembly.
