    "content": "Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, I want to also thank the Commission. It has acknowledged that it is guided by national values and principles. I think one of the worrying trends that I have noticed is that even though the national values and principles are in the Constitution, many of us think that they are cosmetic; that they are these sweet smelling flowers and that they are not part of the Constitution. They are a substantive part of the Constitution. So, if, indeed, the Constitution says that in every action that we take as public bodies, we must be guided by national values and principles, then it means just that."
