    "content": "Thank you, Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, for giving me this chance to also support this important Bill. From the outset, I would like to congratulate the Mover and seconder of this Bill for having brought, perhaps, the most important Bill that this House has ever discussed. It is only unfortunate that many distinguished Senators are not present in this House to make their contributions. That notwithstanding, this Bill meets the relevant and requisite provisions with regard to the Retirement Benefits Scheme. I note that the Bill provides for the establishment of a board of trustees which is going to manage this scheme. The list of board of trustees includes something that is very important, which we have been omitting in the past. Some of the members of the board of trustees will be men and women of integrity, who have qualifications including actuarial science and have been administrators of schemes. This is a very good proviso. I hope to bring an amendment to the effect that amongst the board of trustees, we should also include a representative of The electronic version of the Senate Hansard Report is for information purposes only.
