    "content": "Thank you, Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, for giving me an opportunity to contribute to this Bill. I would like to thank and congratulate the Committee that has worked tirelessly to get us to where we are. It has not been an easy matter to move to this level. Two of the institutions that this Bill proposes to merge, have engaged in some media activism to ensure that the Senate does not get into these matters. We need to build a saving culture in this nation. I have spent about 14 years in the financial services sector, which includes insurance. Some of the problems that we have in this country as far as insurance and retirement schemes and benefits penetration are concerned stem from our savings culture.
