    "content": "The Departmental Committee on Finance, Planning and Trade, as any other Departmental Committee, is comprised of 29 Members. It is mandated to, inter alia, vet and report on all appointments where the Constitution or any law requires the National Assembly to approve, except for appointments under Standing Order No.204, which are under the Committee on Appointments. My Committee exercises oversight over four Ministries, namely the Treasury, Industrialisation, Tourism and Planning and four independent commissions, namely the SRC, the Controller of Budget, the Transition Authority and the Commission on Revenue Allocation."
