    "content": "We have been telling Kenyans that we want to save on the wage bill. The Committee has never convinced us on why we should increase the number of Commissioners of EACC from three to five and, at the same time, employ them on part-time basis. I want to support that they be part-time. However, this House must help the country and the Government on the issue of wage bill. To tell people that they will be commissioners and they will work part-time is not good. They will go and not work effectively. I want to convince the House that there is no real reason. I hope I am making sense. We need our monies to construct roads, build hospitals and do other things. In many commissions around the world, the commissioner is always one person. We have said it here and again that going forward, we may have no commissioners or just one commissioner. Thank you."
