The PSC is envisaged as an independent body, and whether individuals within the PSC behave otherwise, does not mean it is not independent. We want to strengthen institutions. Recently, the long process of constituting the vetting and recruitment committees delayed a lot of things. The earlier we go away from them and move to a very well-known commission that is independent - like the recruiting agency - the better."
