    "content": "Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman, the decision ultimately lies with the House. If you look at the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission Act, the secretary to the commission is always appointed with the approval of this House. The 10th Parliament approved the current Chief Executive Officer (CEO). That was after the commission had interviewed him. Today we are dealing with the composition of a commission in which we are increasing the number of commissioners to five. If this House uses its legislative role to sack and reappoint commissioners, then the mandate of the commission will still be there."
