    "content": "Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman. We seem to be dragging this on but it is important. One, I want to thank Hon. Oner for seeing our point and getting advised. The issue being raised by Hon. A. B. Duale is very important. There is freedom of information. This House cannot then be part of a process that denies Kenyans information. Two, I want to plead with Hon. Oner to kindly withdraw this amendment. An amendment can later come and we have also suggested that. I am sure you are aware that Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) needs to work closely with a parliamentary committee, but away from the public ear, so that the public interests are protected. Because of constitutional issues rights to information, I want to plead with my colleague to withdraw his amendment."
