Temporary Deputy Chairman, I rise to oppose this amendment on the grounds that if we are not sure that by 31st the vetting will have been completed, what assurance do we have that given three more months, it will be completed? I do not, for a minute, want us to pass laws in vain giving institutions deadlines which cannot be met. I think the Committee should reflect on it so that whatever this House passes can be effectively accomplished by the institution that we seek to oversee and see to it that they meet the deadlines as set by this House."
