"content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, my Committee is supposed to deliver a statement sought by Sen. (Dr.) Khalwale. I have just mentioned to him that part of it was ready last week and the Chairperson of the Committee on Legal Affairs and Human Rights was ready to deliver it then. Unfortunately he was not around that day. I have tried to trace the response, but I have been unable to pick it. I am sure we can liaise with Sen. Wako’s office and deliver the part that is ready tomorrow. The other component of this Question relates to the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries. The Chairperson indicated to me that there were discussions between us and the Chairperson of the Committee on Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, so that we find a way of receiving the necessary information from the concerned Ministry. I request the Senator to bear with me so that I bring the part relating to the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) and the prosecution tomorrow. The other can be addressed on Thursday, next week."
