"content": " Hon. Senators, I tend to agree with the Vice Chairman. We call the Cabinet Secretaries when the Committee has expressed frustration that they are not satisfied with the information they are getting. However, in this particular matter, the Committee, as most of you have alluded to, is competent enough to get whatever information you need. Since there are timelines, I would agree with the Vice Chairman that we proceed along those lines. In any case, Sen. Ong’era put it very well that until the signs improve, that is when she will appreciate that something has been done. I think the proof of the pudding is in the eating, to quote David Frost. I am satisfied that there is no need now to call the governor and his team. Let the Committee pursue the matter and when they feel that nothing much has been done, they can do so. In the meantime, and even more importantly, some of these suggestions can be directed to the Committee, so that they can process them as we determine progress. Next Statement!
