I just want to add that the tradition that we are developing here of students and county assemblies coming to the Senate is one that we cherish. Personally, I commend the leadership of the Senate and the Office of the Clerk for facilitating this visit. I am particularly elated to note that one of the schools in the Gallery today, Chiakariga Girls High School, is from Tharaka-Nithi County, which I represent in this House. I commend and encourage the administration of the Senate to continue facilitating the study tours and visits to this House so that our students can be inspired and learn from this House."
