Our expectation was that the Committee would invite the CS to respond to issues that Members had. Mr. Speaker, Sir, I just want to inform the House that the problem of malaria is escalating. For those of us who have been following news, malaria has now spread to Trans Nzoia and Bungoma counties. I heard cases of deaths arising from malaria being reported in these counties. Therefore, it is important that the CS comes to respond to these matters so that we bring it to a close."
