"content": " Order, Senators! I have almost ten requests. The Speaker has ruled and nothing has changed from the time I made the ruling. The position remains the same. Whether Sen. (Dr.) Khalwale, Sen. Khaniri or Sen. Bule sit on the left or right side, the side they belong by law, is the side their coalition agreement demonstrates in whatever coalition agreement they have written. I have said in no uncertain words that unless there is a written letter from a political party to the Speaker indicating that the coalition agreement has changed, there is no legal instrument for the Speaker to determine which is the majority or minority side, except that which is written and deposited with the Registrar of Political Parties. Therefore, for that reason, the debate we have been having in the afternoon amounts to an exposition of the law. It is a lively and enjoyable debate, but we have not crossed that river yet.
