    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I have, on a number of occasions and, on various forums, stated that, yes, indeed, there have been cases of extra-judicial killings. That is not a Government policy and I have stated that. I have also said that in cases where extra-judicial killings have been detected, the Government has taken action. We are doing so. As a matter of fact, hon. Members may be aware that the scenario is declining rather than increasing. I will, however, say yes, I will take the necessary steps to ensure that the witnesses are totally protected. That is much more so because we passed a legislation regarding witness protection here."
