    "content": "Hon. Deputy Speaker, I rise to seek your guidance pertaining to the business of this House. In line with Article 109 of the Constitution, we know that this House has the legislative authority. Two weeks ago, I brought an amendment to the Ethics and Anti- Corruption Commission (Amendment) Bill which had been sponsored by the Chairman of the Departmental Committee on Justice and Legal Affairs, Hon. Chepkong’a. In the wisdom of this House that amendment passed which required that the Secretariat of EACC be re-vetted because their confidence levels had gone down."
