    "content": "Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, the final effect of registration means that a company becomes a body corporate with the rights to do anything that an incorporated company can do. I would like to point out that in this country there have been major difficulties for anyone who wanted to set up business. I want to quote Peter Odeng’ in his book How to start your own smallbusiness . He says that 50 per cent of new business start-ups will actually die out by the end of the first year and 75 per cent of those that succeed will shut their doors in the next five years. Basically, we need to encourage businesses. We need to make it easy for businesses to start and we need to encourage the growth of business. This law is basically helping to do that."
