    "content": "money to the counties. It is important that we pass this Schedule because we are at the end of the month. That is something very simple. Mr. Speaker, Sir, the total amount of money that will go to the counties according to the County Allocation of Revenue Act is Kshs287 billion. However, we know that some of the conditional allocations do not form part of the money that will be sent to counties. It will be money that will be spent on behalf of counties, for example, Kshs4.5 billion related to the leases and so on. Therefore, the actual amount of the transfers which will be made for the next 12 months – on the last page of Schedule – is Kshs259,774,500,000. This is the Equitable Share. Members can see that in July, the Treasury proposes to send Kshs20,781,960,000 and Kshs23,379,705,000 in August. The difference between one month and the other is shown."
