"content": "It has been said that Nakuru County has a home for the elderly. What is happening in that home is pathetic. The county has not been able to budget enough money to take care of the elderly people who are housed in that home. It is very unfortunate that you go there, as a person, to even pay electricity bills so that they can have power and yet the county is there. The sessional paper says that it is looking into this. We must put pressure on the counties that have been bestowed with the responsibility to have those kinds of homes to take care of them. Again, as it has been said, it is not fair to be talking about handouts. We need to encourage those kinds of groupings to be self-sustaining."
