    "content": "Thank you very much, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, for giving me the opportunity to add my voice to this important Bill before the House. I want to start by briefly looking at the most interesting objects of this Bill. I want us to look at Clause 3. It provides for the operation of a framework for the efficient and equitable administration of the estates of insolvent natural persons and incorporated entities comprising natural persons, assets of insolvent companies and other bodies corporate that maintain a fair balance between the interests of those persons, entities, companies, bodies and those of other creditors. Clause 3(1) talks of enabling those persons and entities to continue to operate as going concerns, so that ultimately they may meet their financial obligations to their creditors in full or, at least, to the satisfaction of creditors and finally achieve a better outcome for the creditors as a whole than would be the case if those persons and entities were adjudged bankrupt.
