(a) According to studies carried out in April, 2009 by a consulting company for Wanjala Mining Company which is licensed to carry out exploration work in Kishushe area, the amount of iron ore in the area was estimated to be approximately 4.4 million metric tonnes. The Wanjala Mining Company recently carried out additional airborne surveys and has engaged another consulting company with a view to determining whether more iron ore deposits may be found in the area."
