Temporary Deputy Chairlady, I beg to move:- THAT, Clause 424 of the Bill be amended in sub-clause (1)(b)(i) by deleting the words “Section 761 of the Companies Act, 2015 (requirement as to minimum share capital)” appearing immediately after the word “under” in subparagraph (i) and substituting therefor the words “ the Companies Act, 2015”. What we are seeking to do is to remove the reference to a specific clause of the proposed Companies Act that we passed yesterday by re-numbering the clauses and the divisions, so that we can accord with what was contained and amended by the House in the Companies Bill."
