Temporary Deputy Chairlady, I beg to move:- THAT, Clause 425 of the Bill be amended in sub-clause (6) by deleting the words “Part XXX of the Companies Act, 2015 a copy of a report of the investigation, the Attorney General considers that, as a result of the contents of the report, the company should be liquidated because of a circumstance referred to in Section 801(2)(a) or (b) of that Act” appearing immediately after the word “under” and substituting therefor the words “the Companies Act, 2015 a copy of a report of the investigation, the Attorney General considers that, as a result of the contents of the report, the company should be liquidated”. We are seeking to amend Clause 425(6) of the Bill by deleting the words XXX of the Companies Act 2015 and replacing with the words Companies Act as a result of the amendments that were made. If we made reference to 425, it does not make sense because of the changes that we made in the Companies Act that we passed yesterday."
