    "content": "Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman. I stand to support this proposed amendment. This is because we, as Members of this House who have been dealing with students in our constituencies, know that every child who is admitted to a university under the regular programme actually applies for the HELB loan through the Constituencies Development Fund (CDF). Our children are poor and from what I have observed, most of the students are denied loans without any explanation. So, I think it is fair that we give our children opportunities; we have been saying that the only inheritance we can give our children is education. I support."
