    "content": "Thank you very much, Hon. Deputy Speaker. From the outset, I rise to support this very important Bill. Article 1 of the Constitution is very clear. The sovereign power belongs to the people. This can be exercised directly by themselves or indirectly through their democratically elected leaders who are the legislators in this House. We understand the separation of powers of the three arms of the Government namely the Legislature, the Executive and the Judiciary. Article 94(1) of the Constitution clearly stipulates that the legislative authority is vested in this House. As we are doing our work, we do not expect any busybodies out there to come and interfere with us."
