    "content": "I thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman. I beg to move:- THAT, Clause 31 of the Bill be amended— (a) in sub-clause (1) by deleting the words “Until the Board is constituted and has competitively recruited staff in accordance with this Act, and substituting thereof the word “The”; (b) by deleting sub-clause (2). We want to ensure that public servants who are currently working at the Office of the Attorney-General are retained as the members of staff of the Service as opposed to terminating their services. Issues of employment have become very difficult in this country. These people have experience. We do not want people who have been working for some time to be removed from service. We will only require new employees, if the old ones retire from the service through attrition. I thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman."
