Temporary Deputy Chairman, I beg to move:- THAT, Clause 4 be amended— (a) by deleting subsection (1) and replacing therefor the following new subsection (1)— “(1) The Cabinet Secretary shall, on the recommendation of the Authority, and in consultation with the Cabinet Secretary responsible for matters relating to finance declare, by notice in the Gazette, any area as a Special Economic Zone as set out in the First Schedule.” (b) in subsection (3) by deleting the word “recommended” and substituting therefor the word “recommendation”."
