    "content": "Before I put my points forward, I would like to quote what the Constitution says, so as to put this debate into context. Article 94(1) of the Constitution says: “The Legislative authority of the Republic is derived from the people and, at the national level, is vested in and exercised by Parliament”. Article 94(2) says: “Parliament manifests diversity of the nation, represents the will of the people and exercises their sovereignty”."
