    "content": "(a) paragraph (a) by deleting the words “means a statutory auditor as defined by” and substituting therefor the words “has the meaning assigned to it under”; (b) paragraph (b) by deleting the words “having responsibility for public finance” and substituting therefor the words “responsible for the National Treasury”. The import of the proposed amendment is to align the amendment to the amendments that were made to the Companies Bill, 2015, where the definition of the term “statutory auditor” was deleted, and to clarify the relevant role of the Cabinet Secretary under the amendment."
