Temporary Deputy Chairman, I beg to move:- THAT, Clause 65 of the Bill be amended in the proposed section 153 (2) of the Insurance Act by deleting the word “can” appearing immediately after the word “broker” and substituting therefor the words “shall be”. We are seeking to remove the word “can” and substitute therefor the words “shall be” for purposes of consistency and clarity within the clause itself."
