Temporary Deputy Chairman, I beg to move:- THAT, Clause 96 of the Bill be amended in the proposed section 56 (3) (a) of the Banking Act, by deleting the words “Part 2 of the First Schedule to” appearing immediately after the words “commencement of” We are seeking to remove unnecessary words from the Bill. In particular, we are deleting the words “Part 2 of the First Schedule to” appearing immediately after the words “commencement of”. Those are unnecessary words; they do not bring any meaning to the particular clause."
