    "content": "Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairlady, I just want to note, with regard to the further amendment by Hon. Shakir; that, if you indulge him, it will be very important for farmers in the country. I also want to note that the amendments in Clause 6 are actually bringing to fruition a promise made by the President of this country, Hon. Uhuru Kenyatta, to Kenyans in the Diaspora. It is about importation of Left Hand Drive vehicles. It is very clear that the promise is now being provided for in law, so that a returning resident who has previously owned a Left Hand Drive vehicle for at least 12 months may sell it and import a Right Hand Drive vehicle for the equivalent value, so long they can prove ownership of that vehicle for a period of time; at least one year. They can dispose of it and bring in a Right Hand Drive vehicle. So, it is a very good amendment for Kenyans in the Diaspora. Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairlady."
