    "content": "Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairperson, I want to support this amendment. The introduction of the Capital Gains Tax especially on securities for me was more sentimental than an economic undertaking. The effect as has been seen at the Nairobi Securities Exchange has badly affected particularly foreign investors. Some people fear that that is what could have led to the quick concept of the bear run up the bourse. This is a good amendment. Let our Stock Exchange grow. Let us encourage Kenyans to have wealth. If we have to do taxation, let us do it elsewhere instead of the Capital Gains Tax. I support."
