"content": "Thank you, hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman. Per se, I do not have any problem with the amendment and I support it. The only problem that I have is with the amendments that I have seen in Bills that have been coming here. We are giving too much power to Cabinet Secretaries (CSs). I do not know whether this is really the way we want to go as a country. To me, it opens too much latitude. I saw it yesterday when we were doing the Business Registration Service Bill. I also saw it when we were doing the Special Economic Zones Bill. It is a worry. As a House, we really need to express ourselves. These are powers which can be misused. In a way, they are also powers that are taking us back to where we have come from."
