    "content": "Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, I want to add my voice to the statement by the Senator for Makueni. Indeed, Makueni has been our Achilles heel as an institution that is mandated to protect the interests of counties. Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, as much as the President has exercised his powers in law to determine the matter the way he did, it would be in the interest of this nation, and particularly this institution which is the custodian of the devolution, to benefit from that report. We can have an appropriate discussion on it so that we use some of its recommendations to address some of the challenges facing this country. Therefore, I want to support what the Senator for Makueni has said in this regard."
