"content": "5. THAT, we do here confirm that the issues in respect to which the Petition is made, are not pending before any court of law, constitutional, or legal body. WHEREFORE, your humble petitioners pray that the Senate intervenes and – (i) investigates the matter with a view to having the quarrying activities that are going on stopped; (ii) requires the company that is undertaking the quarrying to compensate all the affected residents; and, (iii) requires the company that is undertaking the quarrying to rehabilitate the dilapidated environment. The Petition is signed by 54 residents, dated 12th July, 2015."
